CANE ROLLER
The roller consists of Cast Iron shell made as per IS-11201 and forged steel shaft of
grade C45/40. The cast iron shell is shrunk fitted on the forged steel shaft.
Rollers are grooved to have larger surface area and proper crushing grip.
Top rollers have flanges and side rollers have juice guards and rings that prevent
sugarcane juice from entering the bearing surfaces.
KAMAL ROLLER
KAMAL ROLLER or Internal Bleeding roller is a very recent innovation in the long history
of sugar cane milling. Higher and higher economies were sought in cane milling and
problems such as flooding, reabsorption of juice in bagasse and final bagasse moisture has
to be dealt with. This roller has been successfully designed, patented, developed and
manufactured at S.B.Reshellers. we are proud to mention here that we have already supplied
Kamal Rollers to more than 100 sugar factories in the Indian and foreign markets and the
results are very satisfactory, resulting in repetitive orders. By replacing regular
rollers with Kamal Rollers you can:
| 1. Improve
feeding |
2. Eliminates
reabsorption |
| 3. Lower bagasse |
4. Improve boiler
efficiency |
| 5. Increase mill
extraction |
6. Increase mill
capacity |
The advantages of using Kamal Roller are
:
The mill load is decreased by 25% for the
same rate of crushing. Along with increase in primary extraction by around
8%, there is reduction of moisture in final bagasse.
UNDER FEED ROLLER
The under feed roller is same as that of cane roller but smaller in size. The C.I shell is
shrunk fitted on forged steel shaft. These rollers are used to push or feed the cane or
bagasse into the tandem to increase the tonnage.
RESHELLING OF
ROLLERS
Old worn out rollers are desheeled i.e the old shell is removed from the shaft. New shell
is shrunk fitted on the old shaft.
